|  Sun-Dried Fruits and Cacao All of our fruits are organically grown in California (except the **Imported** Cacao Powder...they are Certified Organic, but not grown in California), unsulfured, unfumigated, sun-dried (no other heat used) and cleaned in cold water only. All the fruits are Certified Organic except the dates. None of our foods have anything added. For more information, please see Our Foods. Please feel free to order fractional amounts (for instance .5 pounds, or 1.75 pounds, etc) on any items. We try to keep our prices as low as possible. If you find a better price elsewhere for a organically-grown, raw, US-grown product, please let us know and we will try to match it.  Certified Organic Raw Sun-Dried Apricots $8.00/lb.  Blenheim variety. Apricots in stores are often subjected to a hot water wash, moistened with sugar water, and/or frozen. Not these! Sweet and very tasty! These are not re-hydrated, so are quite dry. This allows them to stay fresh longer and you get more for your money. Add a bit of water to moisten (about 3 Tablespoons per pound of fruit).  Certified Organic Raw Cacao Powder from Navitas Naturals $12.00/lb $10/lb or $9/lb for 2 or more pounds  **Imported**
Criollo variety. High in magnesium and anti-oxidents and containing about 16% protein and 19% fat, this is a nice addition to smoothies and desserts. It provides a nice chocolate flavor. From cacao beans grown in Peru, processed at low temperatures. Gluten Free per supplier.

Available varieties change frequently. Feel free to check with us for the current variety. They are quite sweet and somewhat soft dates. The certified organic dates we have found in the stores are from companies that often re-hydrate them with warm to hot water or freeze them. These dates are not subjected to any heat or freezing during processing. Grown sustainably and organically, not certified. Sweet, soft, and yummy!  Certified Organic Raw Sun-Dried Calimyrna Figs $7.25/lb Out of stock until November 2010 The Calimyrna variety was originally grown as the Smyrna variety in Turkish. It is brought to California and renamed to Calimyrna (combining California and Smyrna). Figs in the stores are often washed in warm to hot water.  Certified Organic Raw Flame or Thompson Raisins $2.85/lb. Anytime we have asked whether raisins we were buying had oil added, the seller could not tell us for sure. Labels don’t always list the added oil, even though they should. These have no oil added and have not been frozen. These are minimally processed and have some stems. That is what we offer you here. No salt, citric acid, oil, or anything else. Just tomatoes dried by the sun. Very tasty. The Early Girl variety are less dry and softer.
