We used to believe that salt was unhealthy. After researching the issue, we realize that normal table salt is unhealthy, but Celtic Sea Salt® can be a healthy addition to the diet. It doesn't contain the high levels of sodium and chloride (as well as high amounts of iodine) that table salt has. In addition, it has good amounts of moisture and trace minerals (more than most other salts, including Himalayan Salt), is hand-harvested and dried by the sun and wind, and tastes great! Certified Organic and harvested off the coast of Maine. After Nori, dulse has the highest protein (25%) of all the seaweeds. Also, a good source of iron, potassium, and Vit. C.

Wakame - $7.00 per 4 oz.
Wakame is known as Alaria in California. Amazingly high in calcium with appreciable amounts of Vit C, B-12, and protein. Like Sea Palm and Kombu, wakame contains alginic acids which have been shown to help remove mercury and heavy metals from the GI tract.
