Ordering, Shipping, and Returns
Ordering
After you place an order, we are notified of your request. We will then review your order. If we have any questions, we will contact you by e-mail. If we don't hear back from you in a few weeks, we will try to contact you by phone.
If you are paying by mail via check, we will then send you an e-mail with your final total, including any
discounts and actual shipping amount. For first time orders, we need to wait until the check clears before shipping. After we receive a couple of orders from you, we can ship earlier.
If you are paying by Paypal or credit card, we will send you a Paypal invoice with your final total, including any
discounts and actual shipping amount. You then have the option to use Paypal (with an existing account or by creating a new account) or a credit card (without using Paypal). If you have a Paypal account and don't want to use it (i.e. want to pay by credit card without Paypal), please provide us with a different e-mail address than the one that is connected to your Paypal account. We will then invoice you and you will be given an option to pay with your credit card.
If you are paying by credit card and want to give us that info over the phone, make sure to include your phone number on your order form. In the Customer Comments section, include some good times to call you.
We think saving money is important to our customers so we try to save you money any time we can. That is why we give you choices on bags and only charge you actual shipping charges. In addition, if you pay by check, or Paypal e-check/instant transfer, we will give you a 3% discount. Please click the button at the top of the
Nuts and Seeds or
Sun-dried fruits page. Otherwise, we will assume you are either paying with a credit card (outside of Paypal) or credit/debit card through Paypal. Your invoice will include the 3% discount. Note: Checks and e-check take 3 to 4 days to clear. We ship after the payment clears.
Note: if you click the button and end up paying with a credit/debit card, we will need to deny the payment and re-invoice you without the 3% discount. Please see our

Our Shipping Policy
For all orders we will ship out no later than the next business day following payment. If this will mean the order will be at the Post Office over the weekend, we will wait until Monday so the foods don't sit out of refrigeration longer than necessary.
Shipping costs are an unfortunate necessity, not an area where we make money. We will charge you only the actual shipping cost (and include delivery confirmation on all USPS orders) and will try to determine the least costly method to ship. Insurance is optional, so please specify if you would like to include insurance. We currently ship using the cheapest method. If you have a preference, please specify in the Customer Comment section of your order form. Once we review your order, we will send you an invoice that will includes the shipping cost.
We will send you an e-mail with the invoice for your payment after we review your order and another e-mail when your order has been shipped.
Packing Materials: We use only recycled and reusable cardboard boxes for items shipped Fed Es, UPS, and US Parcel Post.. We shred recycled office waste and use as packing material. We do not purchase Styrofoam peanuts or any other packing materials, but will re-use those we come across to avoid impact on landfills.
Disclaimer
Due to the the changes in laws around food, we are needing to add a disclaimer to purchases of our food. When you place an order, you understand that the foods you are ordering have not been pasteurized, heated, or treated with pesticides or other poisons that are performed by conventional farmers. Some have also not been frozen. This maintains the integrity, enzymes, nutrition, and overall life of the food. This method of farming also minimizes the harm and destruction of other life on our earth, including animals, insects, and bacteria that may co-exist with the food. By paying the invoice, you agree to receiving this food and also agree to not hold Raw From the Farm or any of its employees responsible should you experience any ill effects from the consumption of this food, including but not limited to, severe illness, loss of limb, or death.
Our Return Policy
Your satisfaction is very important to us. We take great pride in the quality of our foods and want you to experience that quality as well. If you are not completely happy with your order, please contact us at
rawfromthefarm@sbcglobal.net so we can make it right. Because the foods are perishable, please refrigerate immediately and contact us within 5 days of receiving your order if you would like to return an item.
